Graphic Designer - Jonathan GNO White

In 2005 GNO was named “One of the 64 People Making Dallas Hot” by D Magazine.  Not content to pick one media or medium, GNO has dabbled in a broad range of artistic endeavors that have allowed him to work on projects ranging from music videos to corporate marketing campaigns. Along with his premier poetry performance troupe OIL (Ordained In Lyrics), he has done voice-over work for McDonalds and other corporate entities. He is currently a higher education professional and serving as the Asst. Director of Student Activities at his alma mater UT Dallas.

Web Designer - Javon Rustin

A poet from North Carolina residing in Dallas, Javon Rustin has been on the 2015, 2016, and 2017 Dallas Slam Team. He ranked top 20 best performance poet in the country at IWPS 2016. He has performed, featured, and competed in cities across the country. When he is not in a notebook or on a stage; Javon is a teaching artist, web designer, and workshop coordinator.

Marketing Coordinator - Rage Almighty 

Rage has received many accolades, included being named the Runner- up at the 2016 Individual World Poetry Slam Championships, awarded Teacher Artist of the Year with Louder Than A Bomb and won the 2014 National Poetry Award for Best Spoken Word Album. He was featured in Season Four of Lexus’ Verses and Flow and has opened for multiple musical artists such as T.I., Dead Prez, Chrisette Michelle, and world-renowned poets Saul Williams and Nikki Giovanni. In 2017 Rage Almighty was chosen to represent the United States in the International World Cup Poetry Slam in Paris, competing with the world's best wordsmiths.

Volunteer Coordinator - Princess McDowell

Princess McDowell is a poet, writer and journalist from Dallas, Texas. In 2013, she competed in her first national poetry competitions, including the Women of the World Poetry Slam and the National Poetry Slam Championships as a member of the 2013 Dallas Poetry Slam Team. She's an active member of the national poetry community, competing and volunteering for Women of the World Poetry Slam, and co-facilitating the youth poetry organization Dallas Youth Poets.

Host City Coordinator - Sherrie Zantea (Candy) 

Sherrie Zantea (Candy) has been writing and performing poetry for over 20 years. Candy made the 2007 Dallas Poetry Slam Team, and to date has been on 10 teams, the first woman to coach 4 and she is the current Slammaster/Executive Director of the Dallas Poetry Slam Organization.Candy is a current teaching artist for Young DFW Writers, where she teaches curriculum based poetry techniques to students all over the country. In addition to her poetry slam experience, she has added to her resume 2017 and 2018 Host City Coordinator of the Women of the World Poetry Slam, DFW Youth Workshop facilitator for Writer’s Garrett, and now the Event Coordinator for the Individual World Poetry Slam (iWPS).  She also maintains a 6 year partnership with WordSpace Non- Profit literary organization, where she serves as Administrator and Facilitator of social media affairs. Candy has published a poetry/recipe book “Heirlooms”, a poetry cd “Candy Unplugged” and continues to provide workshops all over the world.
